Cotswolds Founder’s Choice (59.1%)

A cask-strength single malt from The Cotswolds Distillery, Founder’s Choice is made with 100% locally-grown, floor-malted barley and is aged exclusively in STR ex-red wine casks – a favourite of the distillery’s founder Daniel Szor. Aromas of dry hay, freshly-cut wood, dark chocolate, dried figs and plums in syrup fill the nose, complemented by notes of warm porridge, toast, butterscotch, dried fruit and fresh berries throughout the palate, with hints of roasted hazelnuts lingering in the finish.
