Quartermaster 11 Year Old Whisky Works

Part of the second wave of Whisky Works whiskies in 2019, Quartermaster is an 11-year-old blended Scotch whisky, comprised of Highland grain whiskies and Speyside single malts, each matured and finished in different ways. The grain component has been matured in ex-rum casks and finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, while the rest has been matured in a combination of American white oak casks and sherry butts. Fruity aromas of rum-steeped peaches, ground ginger and coffee fill the nose, while the palate offers notes of rich nuts, dried dates, raisins and orange peel.
