Redwood Empire Emerald Giant Rye Whiskey

Named after the fastest growing Redwood in the world – the Emerald Giant – this rye whiskey was created with a mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley and matured for three to five years before being bottled. The nose has aromas of rye spice followed by brown sugar, cinnamon, and a hint of pepper. The spicy character follows onto the palate and is joined by honey and orange peel notes that lead into a peppery cinnamon crescendo. This whiskey works well alongside Stout, or mixed in a Whiskey Sour.
