Shortcross Rye And Malt Irish Whiskey

A fruity, spicy Irish whiskey from Shortcross that is made with a combination of malted rye and malted barley, and is double-distilled in copper pot stills, before being matured in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels and virgin chinkapin oak casks. Aromas of orange peel, caramel, creamy fudge and soft spices fill the nose, complemented by notes of stem ginger, fresh apricot, green apples and dark honey throughout the palate.
