The Legendary Red Silkie Irish Whiskey

A second edition of Red Silkie by Sliabh Liag Distillers. This limited release is finished in a combination of Rioja and Ribera del Duero wine casks, creating a sweet and aromatic whiskey that carries notes of dry red wine. It starts with a red berry sweetness, strawberry laces, sandalwood, nutmeg, and dried apples that develop into strawberry coulis, marmalade, and dried fruits steeped into Earl Grey tea on the palate. Dry wine and oak tannins follow and lead to a finish with just a hint of smoke.
